Refund / Cancellation Policy
Key Policy Summary
All payments for TendMeet premium features and tokens are final and non-refundable after 24 hours. We maintain this policy to ensure service sustainability and prevent fraud. In rare cases involving technical failures, exceptions may be granted within 48 hours.
1. Non-Refundable Purchases
Tokens & In-App Currency
Once tokens or premium currency are purchased and deposited into your account, they are non-refundable regardless of whether they have been used or not.
- Tokens cannot be converted back to real money
- Tokens do not expire and remain in your account
- You may use tokens anytime for services and features
- Refunds cannot be issued for unused tokens
Premium Subscriptions
Premium subscription purchases are final and non-refundable after the first 24 hours of purchase.
- Premium subscriptions are one-time purchases (not auto-renewing)
- Premium status is non-transferable to other accounts
- Cancellation at any time does not entitle refund
- Premium benefits remain active until the expiration date
2. 24-Hour Grace Period

We offer a 24-hour grace period for refund requests from the time of purchase. You must contact our support team within 24 hours to be eligible for a refund.
How to Request a Refund (Within 24 Hours):

- Include your User ID and transaction details
- Provide a reason for the refund request
- Provide proof of purchase (screenshot or receipt)
- Our team will review and process within 48 hours
⏰ Note: The 24-hour period is calculated from the time you completed the payment transaction, not from when you created your account.
3. Technical Failure Exceptions
In rare cases where a technical failure occurs, we may grant a refund within 48 hours. This includes:

- Include screenshots of the issue
- Provide your transaction ID from Razorpay
- Describe the exact error message or behavior
4. Why We Have This Policy
Why refunds after 24 hours are not allowed:
- Service Already Provided: Tokens activate immediately and can be used instantly for calls and features
- Fraud Prevention: Non-refundable policy prevents abuse and fraudulent chargeback claims
- Business Sustainability: We use token revenue to maintain servers, pay for Agora video calling infrastructure, and improve features
- Fair to All Users: Prevents unfair advantages and maintains pricing structure for all users
- Standard Industry Practice: Most digital service providers (Netflix, Spotify, gaming platforms) use similar policies
5. Refund Processing
Timeline for Approved Refunds:
- Decision: 24-48 hours after support review
- Processing: 3-5 business days for refund to appear in your bank account
- Total: 5-10 business days from initial request
Refund Method:
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method (Razorpay account)
- You will receive a confirmation email when the refund is initiated
- Your bank may take 1-3 additional business days to reflect the refund
6. Non-Refundable Items
The following are strictly non-refundable at any time:

- ❌ Premium subscription after 24 hours of purchase
- ❌ Benefits from completed calls or interactions
- ❌ Account customization or profile enhancements
- ❌ Promotional tokens or bonus tokens from campaigns
- ❌ Refunds due to account suspension (Terms of Service violations)
7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback through your bank or payment processor:
- Your TendMeet account will be permanently suspended
- All tokens and premium features will be removed
- Future payments will be blocked from this payment method
- We reserve the right to report fraudulent chargebacks to payment processors
Always contact support first before disputing a charge with your bank. We will resolve legitimate issues without suspending your account.
8. Account Deletion & Data
When you delete your account:
- Any remaining tokens are non-refundable and lost
- Premium features end immediately
- You cannot recover tokens after account deletion
- No refunds will be issued for unused premium time
9. Indian Law Compliance
This Refund Policy complies with:
- Consumer Protection Act, 2019 - Fair refund practices
- RBI Guidelines - Payment refund regulations
- E-Commerce Rules, 2020 - Digital service refunds
- IT Act, 2000 - Payment security standards

10. Exceptions & Special Cases
Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for:
- Unauthorized account access (account hacked/compromised)
- Unintended purchase made by minor or dependent
- Double billing due to app glitch
- Payment processor error resulting in incorrect amount
